Yes. I made up word – Salad + Charcuterie. Salacuterie. It’s going to be a thing. I just know it. We’re big salad lovers in this house, and whenever we decide to have company over, salad is always our go to item… but what to do when your people are all over the proverbial charcuterie board on what they want to include in their salad?
Enter the Salacuterie Board. All the fixings of a great salad arranged on a beautiful board that you can set out and let your grazers graze.
Here are some great ideas of what you could include on your very own Salacuterie Board:
Veggies: Mushrooms, Radishes, Cucumbers, Carrots, Bell Peppers, Snacking peppers, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Zucchini, Any Varieties of Tomatoes, Avocados, and even Corn!
Other ideas: Mixed nuts, seeds, thinly saved cheeses, Croutons, Cheese crumbles, Banana Peppers, any variety of olives, bacon, even some sliced deli meat!

Ultimate Salad Board
Ingredients
- 1-2 cups Heirloom Tomatoes – the more colorful the better
- 1 cup Sliced Mushroom (peeled and sliced)
- 1 cup Radishes, sliced
- 1 cucumber Peeled and sliced
- 1 red bell pepper Sliced or Diced (a variety of colors would be pretty)
- 1 Carrot Use a peeler to make or shreds would be great.
- Croutons
- Mixed Nuts (you could put in bowls if allergy concerned)
- Slices of Bacon
- Boiled, Sliced Eggs
- Pumpkin Seeds, Sunflower Seeds, etc.
- Olives – green or black
Instructions
- Arrange items around board to your liking.
- Sprinkle almonds, nuts, and seeds around in empty spaces.
- Peel and slice cucumber – lay away from croutons or other dried items.
- Slice tomato – lay away from dried items as well.
- Cook and crumble bacon. Hide until serving time so your family doesn't eat it all.
- Slice any other vegetables – mushrooms, broccoli , cauliflower, zuchini, whatever you have on hand.
- Put out croutons along with any desired cheeses.
- Add your boiled and sliced eggs.
- Arrange on your board however you like. Serve next to bowls of lettuce at a buffet or from the table! Easy Peasy!
