Last  year for Christmas, we were gifted a freezer full of meat from Omaha Steaks. We found them to be pretty tasty for the price, so we decided to order some again for ourselves and try a few more things out. This isn’t an affiliate post or anything, and I don’t have a coupon code or anything… we really liked how easy everything was to make. We ordered the Tasteful Assortment which came with:

4 (5 oz.) Butcher’s Cut Filet Mignons
4 (6 oz.) Boneless Pork Chops
4 Boneless Chicken Breasts (1 lb. pkg.)
4 (4.5 oz.) Chicken Fried Steaks
1 (12 oz. pkg.) All-Beef Meatballs
4 (5 oz.) Omaha Steaks Burgers
4 (3 oz.) Gourmet Jumbo Franks
4 (2.88 oz.) Potatoes au Gratin
4 (4 oz.) Caramel Apple Tartlets
1 (3.1 oz. jar) Signature Seasoning

The cost was basically $170.  This basically came down to 7 meals, 1 of which had the side of the potatoes and an apple dessert (which was meh). For our family of four, 170/4 = $42.50 per person. $42.50/7  is about $6.00 per person per day. Not too bad for a bunch of steak, burgers, chicken fried steak, meatballs, and hot dogs!

We really liked the Potatoes au Gratin, so I’ve tried my best to recreate them and this comes pretty close! You can find this recipe on our Weekly Meal Plan #2.

Enjoy!
